alexiscox: my friend and i had a conversation about neutral milk hotel last night. we both agree that the band is a total foundation that many experimental bands and folk/indie bands derive inspiration from or should anyway. just a thought. I would go ahead and say the the whole Elephant Six Collective formed the base for modern indie/experimental music.
